Witch Feature Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Games Global’s collection of Halloween-worthy slot machines is getting a new title, called Witch Feature. The slot’s developer is Gong Gaming, a company that supplies some of the exclusive games available on the Quickfire platform. It’s got the right graphics, modern and sweet, not as scary as some may prefer, and the features look interesting as well.
Witch Feature has 5x4 reels, which are occupied by 50 active lines. Claiming a 4,000x jackpot is the ultimate goal in this slot machine, where the action is medium in terms of volatility, while the 95.85% RTP is good enough. You will find a couple of modifiers that could make the game better, along with free spins and wilds.
Witch Feature Betting and Prizes
To play this game, you need at least $0.50 going to each round, and the wagers could go as high as $80.
You can get a prize of up to 4,000x the stake, which should be enough for most, given that the volatility level is at a medium setting. The 95.85% RTP could be higher, but I’m not going to complain (96% is the area where you’d usually want it at).
Slot Features
There are the usual wilds present in this game, which you may use next to regular symbols, bringing you more combinations over a longer period of time. Their impact is not huge, but it’s noticeable.
Most of the action inside will be coming from the Potion Features. This trigger when there are certain mixes of potion symbols present. Various concoctions result in different modifiers:
- High Symbols-only Respins;
- Random Wilds Respins
- Multiplier Respins, boosting prizes by up to 10x. Guaranteed win.
- Mega Wilds Respins, where extra wilds of 2x2 or 3x3 will be added.
- Explosions will give you mystery symbols, all turning into the same premium symbol.
Finally, with two scatters appearing on the first and last reel there are 10 free spins that can be triggered (and then retriggered in the same manner). Each round gets its own randomly selected modifier, from the ones mentioned above.
Theme & Design
It’s a cute design, but it’s not quite the kind of thing you’d expect at Halloween. It’s not scary, but at least it delivers the right mix of premium symbols, ranging from images of the Witch to those of a Cat, Owl, Brooms, Books, and Potions. The modern look might just make up for the fact that it doesn’t have the design of a true Halloween slot.
Conclusion
The Witch Feature slot adds plenty of excitement to its gameplay, thanks to its use of the various Potion features. It should be a decent game for Halloween, or even for the rest of the year.
