Rockys Gold Ultraways Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Northern Lights Gaming is giving us another slot in Rocky's Gold Ultraways, and you can check it out for yourself at casinos powered by Games Global, as an exclusive. The Ultraways engine shows promise, though it doesn’t pay that much in this case. Still, with its features and a huge number of potential combinations, it’s a decent slot machine for you to try out.
You’re playing on 5 reels, and a number of ways to win that range from 243 to over 60 million. The Ultraways engine is enhanced with the help of wild symbols, respins, free spins, multipliers, and a random Dynamite Wilds feature. You could get paid up to 11,500x the bet, and this is from a slot with a 96.12% Return to the Player.
Rocky's Gold Ultraways Betting and Prizes
The wagers you get to use inside will vary between $0.10 and $30.
Though you might not be impressed with individual wins of up to 1.1x the stake, the slot is still capable of great things since all those ways to win can quickly add up. Over 11,500x the stake could be paid, after just one spin.
It doesn’t apply to your own game sessions, but the long-term odds are OK since the RTP is at 96.12%.
Slot Features
If you get wild symbols on the reels, you may use them when forming new combinations. They also pay as well as the top symbol, which would be 1.1x the stake at most.
The Ultraways allows you to get more ways to win, starting from just 5x3 positions. Each of those 15 positions can deliver 1 to 4 symbols, thus boosting the number of ways. You could get up to 60 million ways to win this way. This also allows for combinations of up to 10 symbols.
Via scatter symbols, which can land on reels 2, 3, and 4, you can gain access to the free spins. With only two scatters, you could get a respin that could lead to the same feature.
You’re going to be asked to make a pick, which will determine how many free games are awarded, along with the multiplier which will boost prizes. Upgrades are also possible, for more rounds and better multipliers.
A random Dynamite Wild can add dynamite sticks to the symbols, turning them into extra wilds.
Theme & Design
As far as gold mining-themed slots go, this one is not unusual. The look is a regular one, and it adds to the reel images of mining carts, Wild logos, the RG logo, crystals of several colors (red, green, blue), and the J to A Royals.
Conclusion
Overall, there is enough in Rocky's Gold Ultraways slot to warrant a closer look from most players. I’m disappointed that the huge number of ways to win doesn’t translate into a huge top jackpot.
