Rainbow Burst Slot Machine: Review & Demo
The Irish leprechaun and his treasure have inspired countless slot machines already, but it seems like Nailed It Games feels like there is room for more. They’re releasing Rainbow Burst at Games Global-powered casinos, and while the graphics might not allow it to stand out, its features are a different matter.
Rainbow Burst has a basic setup, one with 5x3 reels and 10 lines that we’ve seen in many slots over the years. I’m enjoying the combo of medium volatility and a 5,000x top jackpot, as it feels like you’re getting something that’s worth going after. A combination of free spins, wild symbols, and a Collection mechanic should give you all the excitement you could need.
Rainbow Burst Betting and Prizes
You’re going to decide what the wager will be, but you have to use the provided range. The smallest bet allowed is $0.20, while the highest is $40.
Rainbow Burst gives you prizes of up to 5,000x the stake. The combination between a Max Jackpot and a 5x multiplier will get you there during the Rainbow Burst feature.
As mentioned, the slot has medium volatility. The RTP range is also there, so do ensure that the 96.15% variant is the one you’re looking at.
Slot Features
Rainbow Burst does have wild symbols, but as they only land on the middle three reels you will not be able to form combinations with them directly. They’re only useful as substitutes.
A big part of the slot’s mechanics revolves around the Collection system. It uses a Collect symbol that can only land on reel 5 and either a scatter on reel 1 or Rainbow Symbols stacked on reels 2-4.
The combination of a Collect symbol and a scatter on the 1st reel gets you up to 12 free spins. The stacked Rainbow Symbols increase in size by one position after each spin.
The other big feature lets you collect prizes from stacked Rainbow symbols. Each position comes with a prize, which could even go up to 1,000x the stake (Max Jackpot).
Respins trigger when Rainbow Symbols occupy the entire reel. This can bring new Rainbow symbols to the area, and then additional respins.
As for Rainbow Burst, it can trigger as you’re collecting Rainbow Symbols in the Rainbow Chest. There are both prizes and multipliers of up to 5x for you to claim.
Theme & Design
The graphics aren’t great, and the Irish theme is way too common, and yet there are plenty of players that will not care about any of that. The symbols deliver what you’d expect, images of harps, horseshoes, clovers, or beer alongside some uninspiring Royals.
Conclusion
You get plenty of Rainbow Burst if you care about having interesting features, but someone that cares about story and design will not be impressed. Most should be able to find it an interesting slot.
