Queen of Alexandria: WowPot is one of two versions of the same slot machine. The regular version doesn’t have the WowPot in it, so one is a slot with a progressive jackpot, the other has only regular prizes to give away. RTP changes between the two versions, as does the top regular jackpot size, but more on that below. Theme wise, it’s inspired by Ancient Egypt and one of its major cities, Alexandria.

Queen of Alexandria: WowPot has 5x3 reels, with only 10 paylines active. The game will pay up to 1,000x the stake, and can deliver progressive jackpots worth over $2 million, but this is for the WowPot version (regular version will pay up to 2,500x). Medium volatility is a characteristic for this game, while RTP is 92.50% for the progressive version (96% for the regular game). Cleopatra Wilds which can expand, respins and a Progressive Wheel, these will be the main features included.

Depending on the version of the game that you’re playing, the payouts can change. The WowPot version, which we’re looking at here, will have regular jackpots of up to 1,000x the stake, along with progressive jackpots that could make you a millionaire (value is over $2 million). If you prefer the regular version, then the fixed jackpot goes to 2,500x the stake, but the WowPot is no longer accessible.

Either way, Queen of Alexandria will be a game with medium volatility. RTP is 92.50% in it, but they add the progressive jackpot’s contribution as well to this (96% for the version without jackpot).

Slot Features

Don’t count on finding a lot of special features in Queen of Alexandria: WowPot. The list is fairly short.

First, you will find that Cleopatra Wilds may appear and take over the middle three reels. Expanding on them, this symbol will then contribute to the trigger of a feature that locks the wild reel, and respins the rest. If you get additional wilds on one of the other reels, then an extra respin comes on. This continues until you stop getting new wilds. At most, there can be 3 respins, with up to 3 wild reels in place.

At random, while playing the slot, you may also trigger a feature that can deliver the progressive jackpots. It’s a Progressive Wheel, to which you get access by collecting certain symbols, and with the odds of the feature being better if the wager is higher. The wheel spins, and it can deliver one of the four jackpots, including the WowPot ($2 million is the minimum), Major ($50,000+), Minor ($100+) and Mini ($10+).

Theme & Design

Using a theme that is based on Cleopatra, queen of Ancient Egypt a few thousand years ago, this game doesn’t surprise in the least. However, I think that you will still appreciate the design quality in the game, it’s pretty good. The juicy progressive jackpots are shown on the left side, but the 5 reels take over most of the screen otherwise. You get a glimpse at the background image, where the usual pyramid can be seen.

A list of symbols in a game like this wouldn’t be complete without Cleopatra, and we see the queen as an expanding wild, which takes over entire reels. The rest of the symbols have a regular size, offering images of five types of gems, along with Lucky 7s and Bastet BAR.

Conclusion

Queen of Alexandria: WowPot definitely has what it takes to be an interesting pick, but I’d imagine it to be fun only if you go for the progressive jackpot. As a regular slot machine, it’s a common option, with a very short list of features.
