Mega Moolah Lucky Bells Slot Machine: Review & Demo
The world’s most impressive progressive jackpot network, Mega Moolah, is now available on a brand new slot machine, called Lucky Bells. Gold Coin Studios might be the creator of the game, but they are partnered up with Microgaming (or Games Global, as they’re taking over the slots and the network). It keeps the attention on its prizes since the classic fruit theme isn’t one to get the spotlight typically.
You’re going to discover a setup with 25 active lines and the usual 5x3 reels that will host them. Thanks to multipliers, even the regular side of the slot looks like it could make your day since paid spins alone could deliver 1,000x the stake. However, this sort of game is played for its Mega Jackpot, which has made many people millionaires in the past. Even with the four Mega Moolah progressive jackpots, this highly volatile slot doesn’t have a great RTP (only 92.06%). A couple of features to watch out for, would be the wild, scatters, free spins with increasing multipliers, and a bonus game (Jackpot Wheel).
Mega Moolah Lucky Bells Betting and Prizes
A minimum bet in Mega Moolah Lucky Bells starts from as little as $0.25. Larger bets are also allowed, and they could reach $25 per round. Using a higher bet improves the odds of getting the Jackpot Wheel bonus to trigger.
The base game isn’t the one that will pay big, but it’s still coming with some noteworthy prizes. 1,000x the stake seems to be the limit to one of the regular rounds, while free spins could do even better (increasing multipliers help with that).
Its Mega Jackpot is the one that you want. At a minimum, it can pay €2,000,000, but that’s just the value at which it resets, and it has gone into 8-figure territory plenty of times before. Three smaller jackpots are also possible, and they’re called Major, Minor, and Mini.
A total RTP of 92.06% is available, out of which 86.76% comes from the regular side of the slot, and 5.30% from the progressive jackpots.
Slot Features
A simple Wild will be in play, and as usual, it will be helpful when new combinations are formed. Land it alongside regular symbols, and if the requirements for a combo are met, you get paid.
A Gold Coin will be used as a scatter, which is available on three reels. All three need to show up, to give you 8 free spins. An increasing multiplier is in use, and the number of the spin corresponds to its value (8x boosts to wins for the 8th spin). You can get past the 8th spin though since +1 symbols will add 1 extra spin to the total (there is no limit in place, it could be an unlimited number of free spins).
The big prize of this game will come from its progressive jackpots, and to get one of those you need access to a special feature. Landing 3 Bell symbols somewhere on the reels is all it takes to get in.
This is a Jackpot Wheel bonus, so it will spin and it will stop in one of 20 possible positions. Only one of those positions has the Mega Jackpot on it, so the odds of becoming a millionaire are about 5%, once you reach this stage.
Theme & Design
Mega Moolah Lucky Bells slot might be able to make you a millionaire, but it doesn’t entertain you at the same time. A very simple classic fruit theme was selected, so while the design quality is fine, the images we’re seeing are far from interesting.
For example, you’re going to notice images of fruits in the lower-paying icons, including a pair of cherries, grapes, a plum, or a watermelon. Move on to the premium symbols, and it’s still boring since you’re using three types of Bar symbols, and a Seven.
Conclusion
It’s always nice to have more options when it comes to progressive jackpots since it can get boring if you’re playing the same few real money slots over a long period. Mega Moolah Lucky Bells isn’t the type to bring excitement into the series though, and the total RTP is a disappointment.
