Guardians of the Pyramids Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Expect a regular setup at first, with as few as 243 ways to win deployed on 5x3 reels. Through the Ultraways system, up to 60,000,000 combinations could form, using those same 5 reels but with more symbols on them. I’m quite satisfied with the 11,000x top prize they mention, but not as much with the high volatility. Its RTP will reach 96.03%. Besides the Ultraways system, you will also find inside the Mummy Wild, Mystery Scarab symbols, Splitting symbols, and the free spins.
Guardians of the Pyramids Betting and Prizes
Selecting a wager as low as $0.20 will get you going, but there is also the option to spend $20.
Guardians of the Pyramids can deliver top jackpots of 11,000x the stake, or up to $220,000 cash. The issue is that the volatility is high, making it a losing proposition for a lot of players, only that a few can get huge rewards. The RTP’s range will reach 96.03%, at its highest point.
Slot Features
The Ultraways system allows you to get more than one symbol in a single position. Symbols can show up in single, double, or quad variants, and they count as 1 to 4 symbols. As you can get up to 10 symbols on the same row, combinations are bigger than you might be used to. You still need 3+ symbols to get paid, and they have to go left to right. Up to 60,000,000 ways to win could be available if the game area is maxed out.
Wild symbols can drop at random in the game area, taking the place of regular symbols. They come in three variants, with 1, 2, or 4 wilds present.
Super Symbol Splitting is also a possibility, giving you two or four symbols in a position where you had only one initially.
For the main feature, there are three scatters required, which will lead to free spins. Only 5 are awarded initially, but they can be retriggered. A multiplier is applied to the wins of each spin, and it could be as high as 10x.
The Mystery Scarab will give you random symbols of the same type, in all positions where this symbol lands.
Theme & Design
It’s a mix of Ancient Egypt and alien guardians, interesting by all accounts, and with the right high-quality design to make it fun. The symbols do include the Royals, but there are also images of the various deities in alien form, as well as one with Cleopatra.
Conclusion
Guardians of the Pyramids game look promising, though I’m always disappointed when a slot machine with millions of ways to win has only average top jackpots to deliver.
