Gold Rush Express Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Games Global’s platform continues to receive regular updates, with new exclusive slot machines that you can’t play anywhere else. Thanks to its partnership with dozens of developers, games like Gold Rush Express are only available through them. In this case, they worked with a new developer called Area Vegas, who developed this gold mining and train-themed design.
Featuring 5x3 reels, Gold Rush Express offers the player a total of 20 paylines. The ultimate goal is to claim a 5,000x top jackpot worth up to $250,000. The cost is the expected high volatility of this slot machine, though the version of the RTP set to 96.45% might help some players there. You will find several features inside, going from wilds and scatters to a random Pick feature, free spins, and the Rush Express bonus.
Gold Rush Express Betting and Prizes
You need as little as $0.20 to spin the reels of Gold Rush Express. Going up from there, you can spend as much as $50 per spin.
Now, looking at the rewards that Gold Rush Express can pay, we’re seeing a jackpot worth 5,000x the stake. Given the wagers allowed, we can figure out that a prize of $250,000 is the best the slot will do.
Though it’s not an impressive prize for a high volatility release, the slot is still worthy of your attention if it’s the 96.45% RTP version you’re looking at.
Slot Features
One of the more common feature symbols available, the wild, is also the top-paying symbol (10x the stake vs 5x paid by regular symbols). Mostly, you will get it to help out as a substitute.
Via bonus symbols, which have to land three times, you can get access to 10 free spins. It’s easier to get the Rush Express to trigger in this mode.
Rush Express is a feature that will help you collect prizes from the reels, but a combination of symbols is required to make it happen. You need either a Gold Train or a Bell landing at the same time as Rush Express symbols (in four versions and landing on reels 1-4). The Bell collects all those prizes just once, while the Gold Train does it up to 10 times.
Finally, there is a Pick feature, which can trigger at random when a Gold Nugget is on the reels. It lets you make picks, and you have to match 3 icons to claim a prize.
Theme & Design
There is a train carrying gold, an idea that should appeal to players, particularly if some of those fortunes reach their pockets. The Gold Rush Express symbols are not uncommon, ranging from the five Royals to images of an oil lamp, a shovel, a pick axe and pan, gold coins, and bars of gold.
Conclusion
Overall, Gold Rush Express is a pretty good release, but it doesn’t go outside the usual offer made by Games Global slots. It has common rewards and graphics, so it’s the features that are worth looking into the most.
