Gold Mine Stacks Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Gold Mine Stacks is one of the many collaborations that Games Global has, and for this particular release, the work is coming from Nailed It Games. It’s one of the many gold-mining-themed slot machines that are currently available, but it looks like they changed enough things about its features to make it a fun option anyway.
You’re going to have 20 paylines on the 5x3 reels used in Gold Mine Stacks. The slot’s huge prizes of up to 50,000x have a cost that I’m willing to pay, its high volatility. Several features are part of it, such as stacked wilds with respins, scatters, and a multi-level free spins feature that could boost wins with multipliers.
Gold Mine Stacks Betting and Prizes
The bets you are going to place in Gold Mine Stacks may start from as little as $0.20, but they could then go up to $40.
This slot machine promises that it’s capable of delivering inspiring top payouts, of up to 50,000x the stake. As this is the sort of payout that only the free spins can deliver, it’s not surprising that there is high volatility that you need to be wary of. The RTP of 96% is one that I’m OK with.
Slot Features
A stacked wild symbol is available, but you’re not guaranteed that it will occupy all positions on a reel. If it does land and is fully visible, then it brings you a Wild Stacks respin. The triggering wild reel is sticky, while the others respin. Land additional wilds, and the respins continue until no more reels get turned into wilds. At most, this feature could pay 400x the stake, if you had wilds on all reels.
For the main feature, you will need at least three bonus symbols to appear. The game gives you three chances to get paid, or you can call them lives if you prefer. You consume these lives/chances when you don’t get a prize, but the number resets if one does appear. There are random multipliers that could boost those prizes.
The feature allows you to advance to a different level of the mine if you get enough prizes. Eventually, you could reach the fourth and final level, where a multiplier as high as 10x will be applied to all prizes. You could get a win of up to 50,000x then.
Theme & Design
They did a good job when it comes to features, but the gold mining theme could’ve been better implemented. All you’re going to see among the regular symbols is a mix of metallic Royals and various gemstones (similar cuts, different colors).
Conclusion
Gold Mine Stacks offers a nice selection of special features, I appreciated that it’s not the standard set of mechanics, but something a bit different.
