Gold Collector HyperHold Slot Machine: Review & Demo

Gold Collector HyperHold Slot Demo

Gold Collector HyperHold is going to be released by All41 Studios, as an exclusive slot for Microgaming’s platform. It’s a type of partnership that we’ve seen a lot of times already, and some of Microgaming’s features and brands are included. Of course, I’m talking about the HyperHold option in this case. It’s different from what you might get in other slots, so there might be fans of the genre that will want to see what it’s all about.

50 paylines, going across 5x4 reels, will help bring the player top wins of 1,200x the stake ($120,000 cash). As a game with medium volatility, it doesn’t exactly come risk-free, but the RTP is good at 96.40%. Using a wild symbol, several scatters, free spins and HyperHold respins, it manages to put forward a decent mix of special features.

Gold Collector HyperHold Betting and Prizes

$0.10 to $100, this is the complete betting range that you may use in Gold Collector HyperHold. It should be more than enough for most of its players, even high rollers.

There are several types of payouts that can get you closer to the 1,200x top jackpot, which this slot can deliver in a single round. It might be a combination of regular wins (up to 750x the stake) and fixed jackpots from the HyperHold feature (regular prizes, alongside a 1,000x fixed jackpot which is possible).

You will find that there is going to be medium volatility, which basically tells you how fast you risk losing your funds in the game. It’s not extreme here, so you might hold on to those starting funds for a while. RTP is 96.40%, so we also know that long-term it’s considered a fair option.

Slot Features

Gold Collector HyperHold delivers a wild symbol on reels 2, 3 and 4, and it allows it to be used in any new combinations formed on its lines. It will be used as a replacement then, but only for the regulars.

One of two types of scatters, will be the one giving you access to 8 free spins, just by landing three times in a single spin, using the middle columns for this.

The other one is the Gold Coin with the mountains on it. This one can appear on all five reels, and by landing on at least three, it activates those columns for the HyperHold respins. Each of the activated reels has 3 respins, which will be used to bring new Gold Coins on them. If that happens during those respins, the reels which got them will reset the respins back to 3. The aim is to fill those reels with Gold Coins, since each one brings a cash prize, and there is also a possibility to trigger the reel’s fixed jackpots (1x to 1,000x the stake, depending on the reel).

You will find that in other slots this same feature requires twice as many scatters to trigger, but it also activates all reels, so I’m not entirely sure which version I prefer. I’m inclined to say that this version of the HyperHold is the weaker one of the two, since you’re not even guaranteed access to the reel which pays the top jackpot.

Theme & Design

Theme and design wise, Gold Collector HyperHold is a perfectly forgettable slot machine. There is a lot of brown and black in its background image, which appears to show a mine gallery. The reels give you stone-made Royals, along with a pick, shovels, lanterns, mining carts, an old miner, gold coins, plus other scatters and wilds.

Conclusion

I think you will want to at least see what Gold Collector HyperHold is all about. The HyperHold respin feature is the central piece here, but it’s not as attractive as in other slots, at least not for me. I’d recommend you try it out for yourself though, you might feel differently.
