Fishin Christmas Pots of Gold Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Gameburger Studios and Games Global have a brand new slot machine for us, a holiday-themed title that’s based on a series that has been around for a couple of years. While the previous release from the series was highly volatile, Fishin' Christmas Pots of Gold is a medium option, which will likely be enjoyed by more players.
You’re playing with 5x3 reels in Fishin' Christmas Pots of Gold, and you will discover that there are 10 paylines activated. With the right features helping out, a jackpot of 15,000x this medium volatility slot may pay the stake. RTP is OK, at 96%. The features could take the form of Cash Collectors, scatters, wilds, or free spins.
Fishin' Christmas Pots of Gold Betting and Prizes
The minimum amount to use per spin is $0.10, but the maximum one could take you up to $25.
A good top jackpot is not a given in a slot that has medium volatility, since you’re not taking as much of a risk. Still, Fishin' Christmas Pots of Gold manages to deliver excellent rewards, even up to 15,000x the bet paid in a single round.
The RTP they mention is 96%, but there is usually a range available for operators, so I’d check this number out before starting to play.
Slot Features
One of the most common symbols around, the wild has additional powers in this case. During paid spins, it may only land on the 5th reel, while during free spins it lands on all reels. The additional role, besides its substitution ability, is the power to act as a Collect.
It collects any fish symbols with prizes that will land on the reels, each one offering a prize as high as 100x the stake. There are also fixed jackpot symbols paying up to 5,000x, which can also land and be collected.
Between 10 and 20 free spins are activated, if you have 3 to 5 of the slot’s scatters in view. The game area gets bigger, to 5x5 reels and 20 paylines.
You also get all Collect symbols in a special Accumulation Trail at the top, and for every three you got there will be a boost to the multiplier of the cash symbols and 5 more spins. 10X is the highest cash multiplier that can be applied.
Theme & Design
They kept the same fishing theme that everyone else uses, but they added Santa in the role of the fisherman, there is a top-paying lure box symbol, along with Santa’s fishing boots, an artificial lure, a bell, cash symbols with fish, and five Royals.
Conclusion
Overall, I think that it’s a pretty good option for a player that enjoys this Collect mechanic, and wants it turned into a more Christmas-appropriate design.
