Divine Diamonds Slot Machine: Review & Demo

Divine Diamonds Slot Demo

A slot machine with classic elements, but which has a modern side as well, Divine Diamonds is a Microgaming exclusive that is available via Northern Lights Gaming, one of their partners. You will likely recognize the Epic Strike jackpot, which we’ve seen in several other Microgaming exclusives already, regardless of the developer that worked on it. What you might not be as excited about, is the classic theme, delivering a mix of Sevens and Bar logos for the most part.

Divine Diamonds was designed with 20 lines on 5x3 reels. It’s going to be enough for a slot with medium volatility, wins of up to 2,250x the stake, and a 96.24% Return to Player. Several scatters, random respins, free spins with multipliers, wilds, these are all special features that you may get access to inside.

Divine Diamonds Betting and Prizes

Starting as low as $0.20, the game lets you spin the reels with all lines active. Once you get to the upper limit of the betting range, you find yourself placing wagers of up to $120 each spin (if you want to).

The Epic Strike jackpot alone can deliver wins of up to 2,000x the stake. If you manage to form enough combinations with wilds and multipliers, you could get up to 2,250x the stake, particularly during the free spins. It’s a cap that the developer placed, because otherwise it looks like a slot that could pay more.

It’s considered a game with medium volatility, and there is a long-term RTP of 96.24% telling us that it’s a fair option (for this type of casino game at least).

Slot Features

Should you see the Wild logo appear on the reels, you will likely be able to guess exactly what it can do for you. Mostly, it will be a substitute in other combinations, but it’s possible to get it to pay you directly as well. It pays up to 125x the stake per combo.

For a lot of players, the Epic Strike jackpot will make it to the top of their wishlist. It’s a scatter-triggered jackpot, where you need up to 9 of these special Diamond scatters in view, in order to claim a prize. The ladder you see on the left side, will tell you how many scatters are needed per jackpot level.

Random respins may occur for you, and this is one part of the game that you have no control over. Once triggered, the feature will respin either some or all of them reels, moving them backwards or upwards, and giving you an extra chance at a win.

Finally, we also have a scatter symbol that can get us into the free spins feature. It’s a Wheel of Fortune icon, with the Free Spins Deluxe logo on it. Get all three scatters, on reels 2-4, and a small feature follows.

In it, you get to spin a Wheel, with the outer wheel delivering up to 30 free games, while the inner one gives you either a 2x or 3x multiplier for all wins. Once you get inside, the free spins can retrigger via new scatters. Multipliers don’t apply to Epic Strike jackpots.

Theme & Design

Divine Diamonds doesn’t look like much, it has only a classic theme and a fairly bland design, but if you’re really into these older designs, then you might still like it. The choice of symbols wasn’t too adventurous either. You do get a couple of logos when talking about wilds or scatters, along with the Diamond, but otherwise it’s all cherries, three types of Bar logos, and three versions of the Seven.

Conclusion

Divine Diamonds is a fairly average new online slot these days, but the numbers are solid enough, and it’s not a bad choice overall, if you don’t expect something unique out of it.
