Diamond King Gold Slot Machine: Review & Demo
The result of a collaboration between SpinPlay Games and Games Global (ex-Microgaming content is now theirs), Diamond King Gold is apparently just one of many safari-themed slot machines. However, give their features a chance, and you will find that they’re powerful, and you might just get from them something that others don’t offer.
Diamond King Gold has 5x4 reels, enough room to allow for 1,024 ways to win. Rewards of over 10,000x the stake are possible, and there are additional fixed jackpots of up to 5,000x that you could claim. This is all at the cost of its high volatility, but the 96.44% RTP sort of makes up for it. You should check out its features while you’re at it, and among them, you will find the regular and multiplier wilds, random modifiers, free spins, and a bonus game that can trigger one of the jackpots.
Diamond King Gold Betting and Prizes
The starting bet in Diamond King Gold is worth just $0.20, while the maximum amount that you can use is $25.
Diamond King Gold is quite capable of paying well, and it promises rewards as high as 10,240x the stake when everything goes according to plan. There is also the Diamond Jackpot bonus, which can pay 5,000x the stake.
Even though the slot’s highly volatile, there is also a high RTP to consider, the return being 96.44%.
Slot Features
You are getting a Diamond Wild on the reels, and you may use it as a substitute. Fill up the meter with these wilds, and you access a bonus game called Diamond Jackpot. There are picks to make here, and you can win one of four fixed jackpots. The top one is worth 5,000x the stake.
A special game area is marked for the positions found in the middle of reels 2-4. If a Diamond Wild shows up there, it applies a 2x multiplier to wins.
A modifier that can trigger at random, the Roar, will give the Power Range area a boost, so it covers all positions on reels 2-4. The multiplier wilds boost wins by up to 5x then.
There are also up to 20 free spins to claim, via 3-5 scatters. The Roar modifier is always on, and you collect Gold Lions in special meters so that the premium symbols can be upgraded.
Theme & Design
It might look greener than other safari-themed slots, but otherwise, it’s not that special of a design, at least not for this category. The symbols include Royals from 9 to A, in different colors and animal prints. There are also images of meerkats, zebras, rhinos, elephants, and lions.
Conclusion
Diamond King Gold is a pretty good slot machine from SpinPlay overall, and that has to do with its gameplay first and foremost, not as much with its design.
