Chili Bonanza X Up Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Infinity Dragon Studios has its next Games Global exclusive all lined-up, and it’s going to be called Chili Bonanza X Up. The X Up mechanic is one that we’ve seen before in other slots exclusive to that platform, and the Mexico-inspired graphics are also fairly common. Still, luckily there is at least one thing that will make the game interesting, and that would be the top jackpot.
Chili Bonanza X Up has 243 ways to win on 5x3 reels. With the right features helping out, including here free spins with up to 50x multipliers, or wild symbols, a top jackpot of 50,000x the stake is mentioned as a possibility. As volatile as the slot is likely to be, the RTP range has at least one good value, at 96.33%.
Chili Bonanza X Up Betting and Prizes
Whether we’re looking at the minimum bet of $0.30 or at the maximum one of $12, the betting range looks accessible.
I’m quite impressed with the potential rewards announced for Chili Bonanza X Up. It’s a slot machine that could return your bet at a multiple of 50,000x, which is on the high side even for the most volatile releases these days. You need to watch out for the RTP since only one of the three settings is acceptable, the one at 96.33%.
Slot Features
Whenever you get the wild symbol on the reels, you will get it to both expand on its reel and act as a substitute for other symbols. It will form its own combinations when appropriate, in which case it pays up to 6.25x the stake per combo.
The main feature takes the form of free spins, but before we get to those, let’s see what happens when you get only 2 of the required 3 scatters. In that case, you receive the X Up token, which is added to a meter. Collect these, and you will get a higher multiplier once the free spins get going.
Depending on the number of tokens collected, with 1 to 23 required, you can get a multiplier between 2x and 50x once you finally trigger the free spins. You start with 8 free spins, but it’s possible to get 2 more whenever a set of 2 scatters lands.
Theme & Design
It’s a Mexican-style design, the way many others are, and the fact that it turns food into characters is not unusual either. You’re seeing garlic, onion, apples, bell peppers, chili, and plenty of other fun icons on those 5 reels. There is a restaurant called Habanero Cantina on the left side and the X Up meter on the right.
Conclusion
Chili Bonanza X Up is an enjoyable slot machine, and it can pay big, especially if you get the right multiplier for the free spins. For that reason, I recommend you check it out. I wouldn’t expect much from the base game; it’s mostly about building the multiplier up as much as possible in order to take advantage of it during free spins.
