Book of Mega Moolah Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Book of Mega Moolah offers 5x3 reels and 10 paylines, which is not much. Even so, with the right features, the potential to pay well is there, and the fixed prize goes up to 5,508x the stake. It also includes the Mega Moolah jackpot, so becoming a millionaire with a small wager is possible, even though the RTP is at a shallow level of 86.71%. It’s a Book-style slot, so there are mixed wild/scatter Book symbols, along with the free spins that use an expanding symbol.
Book of Mega Moolah Betting and Prizes
The full range of the bets that you may use in Book of Mega Moolah is going from $0.10 and will end up at $25.
Book of Mega Moolah can pay incredibly well, but that’s due to the presence of the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot. It’s worth millions typically, and it has even been paid at values of more than 18 million GBP.
The RTP of such a game is usually low, as it has to accommodate the presence of the jackpot. It’s low here as well, with 86.71% being the expected return to the player.
Slot Features
The Book-like mechanics that the title hints at can be found easily inside, though triggering them is another matter.
The Book symbol is both the wild and the scatter symbol. While you can get some help from it when forming new combinations, I wouldn’t count on it landing often.
The reason for that is that this is also the trigger for the free spins. 3+ Book symbols will pay up to 100x and will trigger 10 free spins. The special thing about it is that it selects a random symbol and allows it to expand on its reels at the end of the round. If it’s on 3+ reels, it pays on all lines without the requirement for these to line up left to right.
The progressive jackpot is paid through its own feature, with a Wheel spinning to reveal your prize. This is a random event.
Theme & Design
It’s a Mega Moolah-style design, so the African savanna is the backdrop, and the symbols you see on the reels are the familiar Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, and Giraffes. The dated-looking Royals are also present. The Book is the only new addition.
Conclusion
Book of Mega Moolah is a proven game, but now you can get it with a Book-like engine. The low RTP is the big downside with it, but that’s true of all Mega Moolah slots, and they’re still popular.
