Bison Moon Slot Machine: Review & Demo
If you played slots before, I’m sure you’ve seen wildlife-themed designs in the past. Have you ever seen one where the wild creatures are shown under a full moon, one that’s colored in red? That’s what the Bison Moon seems to be all about, a brand new release from Games Global and Northern Lights Gaming.
Bison Moon offers us 5x3 reels, and on them, we will play with 25 active lines. A top prize of 12,500x the bet is announced, and it’s fitting of a slot with high volatility. The RTP is at 96.08%, which is also fine. The help you’re going to get is going to come from the wild symbol, scatters, free spins, and Link & Win respins.
Bison Moon Betting and Prizes
You can select a bet directly, for all active lines. The values to choose from are found within a range of $0.10 to $20, so they don’t seem to have a direct correlation to the number of active lines..
Like most slot machines exclusive to Games Global, the winnings are capped at $250,000. In this case, it can be a return of up to 12,500x the stake, which is not bad. Of course, the volatility is also high in this case, which is not ideal.
One should also keep in mind that the game has a 30.33% hit rate, so wins come frequently, and the RTP is also OK at 96.08%.
Slot Features
You will get a bit of help from the Bison Wild, a symbol that you will use as a substitute.
The Free Spins Moon is the one that gives you access to 10 free spins, provided that you got three scatter symbols to land on reels 2-4. In this mode, the slot uses mega symbols on the middle reels, so you get 3x3 positions of the same type, ideally. You can even retrigger the free spins with scatter blocks.
As for Link & Win, this feature is activated via 6+ Money symbols (Red Moon). They each carry a prize, and they stick around for the duration of the respins that follow. You get 3 respins, but the number resets if additional Moons appear. At the end of the feature, you get paid for all those Moon prizes, and fixed jackpots are also available.
Theme & Design
It’s a relatively common theme, with North American wildlife as the stars and top-paying symbols. The lower-value positions get the Wild West style Royals. The action takes place at night, under the light of a red full moon (Bison Moon).
Conclusion
Bison Moon slot game delivers all the right features, but there is nothing there you haven’t seen before. I like the hit rate and the rewards, despite the high volatility that accompanies them.
