It’s not going to be the sort of slot game to include unique features and mechanics, but the ones they included inside are solid options, that will make the gameplay fun and potentially quite profitable. The inclusion of the Epic Strike jackpot is a major reason why you might like it, but it’s not the only one that can lead to a decent payout.

One of the important symbols found in Ascension: Rise to Riches, is the Scarab Wild. You may use it as a substitute when you can get it lined up with enough matching regular symbols, but don’t expect that to happen too often. As a symbol that pays the top jackpot (125x the stake per line), it’s not going to be a symbol that lands too often. Still, it will come in handy, and there will be times where it will turn losing rounds profitable.
A big part of the game, is the Epic Strike Jackpot. It’s not a difficult feature, all you need is for 3 to 9 scatters with Osiris to land at the same time, and you claim one of the 7 fixed jackpots mentioned on the left side. Prizes go as high as 2,000x the stake.
There will also be a Free Spins logo inside, on the reels 2-4. Get all three scatters, to trigger a feature with a Wheel of Spins. The Wheel gives you 10-30 free spins, and a 2x-3x multiplier. It can be retriggered via another 3 scatters.
Theme & Design
Ancient Egypt is probably one of the most common themes used in modern slot machines, but that didn’t stop them from using it anyway. It’s the easy choice, but it doesn’t help the game stand out much. The mix of symbols feels common for the most part, though there are some things that you don’t get elsewhere.
Those symbols include three versions of the Ankh (single, double, and triple), along with the Pharaoh, Bastet, Horus, and Book symbols in several variants. The Scarab, Free Spins logo, and Osiris, are the feature symbols.
Conclusion
Ascension: Rise to Riches is not a bad game overall, and it incorporates above average graphics, along side a mix of features that have been proven popular with players. Best of all, I love that it’s low volatility, and yet it can pay like a medium volatility slot.
