Amazing Link: Hades Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Amazing Link: Hades continues a longer series from SpinPlay Games and Games Global, which had us going from Irish lands to Ancient Greece. The features seem to link this category together, though most slots feature deities like Zeus, Poseidon, and now Hades.
You’ll find 20 active paylines on the 5 reels spinning in Amazing Link: Hades. If you get lucky, you can expect a 4,000x top jackpot to be delivered, which could mean $250,000 cash. With medium volatility and a 96.50% RTP, the slot looks rather interesting at first glance. The big features range from the respins available in Amazing Link to free spins or stacked wilds.
Amazing Link: Hades Betting and Prizes
You can spend between $0.20 and $62.50 on your next spin.
The slot machine’s best rewards come via a Mega Jackpot, which the Amazing Link respins or a random Pick feature can deliver. Up to 4,000x the stake will be paid, with a cash value of up to $250,000.
I appreciated the medium volatility of the slot, and the RTP’s highest setting of 96.50% doesn’t hurt it either.
Slot Features
One of the more interesting features you will encounter, the Hades Wild is stacked and can substitute any regular symbol. It’s also possible to form combinations with wild symbols, paying up to 8x the stake on each line (though only 160x the stake when all positions are covered by wilds, which is not much).
One of the ways to get a bigger prize is through the Amazing Link respins. The feature triggers when there are a minimum of 6 Coins symbols present. Each Coin has a prize on it or a fixed jackpot. They become sticky, and then 3 respins start. If there are new Coins landing, the respins reset to 3. At the end of the feature, you claim all regular prizes and fixed jackpots. A Mega Jackpot is paid when all positions get covered by Coins, and it’s worth 4,000x the stake.
The fixed jackpots can also be claimed through a Pick feature, which triggers randomly.
Moving on to the final feature, it brings you 10 free spins if you have the required 3 scatters. The Amazing Wild reel gives you 3 mixed symbols, acting as both wild and Coins.
Theme & Design
In addition to the image of Hades (stacked wild), the game uses Greek Coins or images of Cerberus, jewelry, keys, or helmets. There are also some less relevant symbols, showing us the 9 to A Royals there. The graphics are OK, but not unusual for an Ancient Greek-themed slot.
Conclusion
Overall, I found Amazing Link: Hades an enjoyable experience, a slot machine with popular features you can also get elsewhere. The fact that it comes with medium volatility may be something you can’t get in other slots, though.
