9 Pots of Gold Megaways Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Games Global gets the vast majority of its exclusive content due to its partnership with companies like Gameburger Studios. The latest slot machine to come out from this partnership is called 9 Pots of Gold Megaways. If it sounds familiar, there is a good reason for that. There are two other 9 Pots of Gold slots that they’ve released already, but the previous ones didn’t offer the Megaways engine.
9 Pots of Gold Megaways proposes a setup that allows the player to form combinations on as many as 117,649 ways to win, and at its base, there will be 6 reels that will each get a random number of symbols (up to 7). Though other developers create high volatility slots with huge top jackpots, Gameburger Studios only took the first part and slapped a top jackpot of 5,000x. As unimpressive as that jackpot is, the RTP range has a proper value of 96.10%, but lower settings are also possible. You also get features like free spins with progressive multipliers, wilds, or scatters paying instant jackpots.
Betting and Prizes
The amount you have to use in a round’s bet will start from $0.20 and may go up to $50. There is the option to activate an extra bet allows you to spend more and get better odds of triggering major features.
Up to 5,000x the stake will be paid in this slot, so we can determine that $250,000 is the cap on its winnings. The high volatility nature of its gameplay doesn’t fit with that prize too well, but the RTP can be acceptable if it’s set to 96.10%.
9 Pots of Gold Megaways Slot Features
The slot’s 6 reels will host a random number of symbols and ways to win. If you form a new combination, the Rolling Reels trigger and help bring new symbols to replace the winning ones. If new combinations form, the Rolls keep going.
You are getting help from the wild symbol, which lands on reels 2-5 and acts as a substitute.
There are also the famous Epic Strike jackpots, which pay immediately if they land 3 to 9 times. Up to 2,000x the stake will be paid.
The main feature consists of 10 or more free spins, with 4+ scatter symbols needed. They add a progressive multiplier, which improves after each trigger of the Rolling Reels.
Theme & Design
The modern graphics and the Irish-inspired symbols of 9 Pots of Gold Megaways aren’t surprising. I don’t consider it a plus since it’s common to see, but many players will not care either way. The symbols are either Royals (10 to A) or somewhat appropriate for the theme (ranging from top hats and harps to clovers or golden Sevens).
Conclusion
All in all, I think that 9 Pots of Gold Megaways is a solid slot machine. It’s not designed to impress, but it brings forward several popular features that are available in many other Games Global slots.
