9 Bass Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Oros Gaming is a brand new developer of slot machines, and 9 Bass is their first release. Like others before them, they’re making themselves known by working together with a larger company, Games Global (Microgaming sold them their portfolio and platform) in this case. They chose a popular past-time for its theme, and there are a few different popular features that help make it fun.
9 Bass provides us with 20 win lines, and we find 5x3 reels that act as support for them. A top prize of 2,000x the stake is nothing to sneeze at, particularly since we’re getting a 96.24% RTP and only medium volatility. Via free spins with multipliers, scatters, and wilds, we get enough special features as well.
9 Bass Betting and Prizes
9 Bass can be played in exchange for a bet of only $0.20, but that’s just the minimum required. Up to $120 can be placed as part of a round’s bet.
With a 2,000x prize coming from the Epic Strike scatters, 9 Bass could pay the player up to $240,000 (depending on the bet). That kind of payout fits well with the medium amount of risk that the player takes, and the 96.24% Return to Player is also good.
Slot Features
A Wild logo will sometimes land on the slot’s reels, ready to be used in whatever way is possible. The easiest one is the role of the substitute, which even a single wild can take on, when it appears next to the right amount of matching symbols. Sometimes though, you will get them to form winning combinations themselves, and they pay up to 125x the round’s wager then (while regular symbols pay up to 37.5x).
A popular jackpot mechanic in slots from Games Global, Epic Strike is simple to use and take advantage of, and it’s all done in the base game. Simply having 3 to 9 of the Bass scatters visible, will get you a prize ranging from 1x to 2,000x the wager.
There is also a Free Spins Wheel symbol, which you need landing three times on reels 2-4. The result is a spin on a Wheel of Fortune, and through it you can claim 10-30 free spins, and either a 2x or a 3x multiplier to boost their wins.
Theme & Design
It’s obviously a fishing-themed game, and it shows it through its underwater view from the background, and also through its symbols. There are some classics in there, such as Sevens and Bar logos, but you also get several artificial lures, or fish.
Conclusion
9 Bass is a decent slot machine overall, but it doesn’t give you something you haven’t seen before, at least if you’re familiar with Games Global titles.
